The Garden

Our beautiful garden comes alive in the spring. Landscaped with mature olive trees, palms, bamboo, vines, summer perennials, and a kitchen herb garden, at night the garden twinkles with thousands of fairy lights, providing a magical backdrop to your evening. With its’ own vintage horsebox bar, pouring a wide selection of drinks, including draught Pimms, The Little George is already a local institution, and probably the most well-appointed mini pub in the world, if we say so ourselves! George’s Grill & Pizzeria is another extended horsebox, offering al fresco casual dining, with smash burgers, wood-fired, pizzas, BBQs, spit roasts and much more from our resident and guest chefs. Two stretch tents provide English weatherproofing, with overall garden capacity for 200+ people, plus a large firepit that comes into its own during cooler summer evenings. The garden also hosts a stage with full PA system, and we host various live music events throughout the year. With a kids’ play area, two table tennis tables, our resident chickens and lots of other things to keep your young ones entertained, you can kick back, relax and enjoy the sunshine. Our garden is also available for private hire, weddings, birthdays, parties and other gatherings, for sole or shared use. Additional self-contained bathroom and baby changing facilities are available within the garden.
