Cafe & Store
Our small-but-perfectly-formed village store stocks daily staples and local produce we use in our own kitchen, including milk and dairy, bread and pastries, meats, takeaway wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks (at shop prices!), plus chocolate, sweet and savoury snacks and treats. We also stock a small range of luxury gifts from local companies including Lords Fragrance House in nearby Wallingford, who also provide our in-house scent.
For children, George’s Sweet Shop lets your little darlings travel back in time and enjoy a quarter of their favourite penny sweets served from traditional glass jars and weighed on traditional scales, complete with old school paper bag! We also stock ice lollies and more from the freezer in the summer.
